ABOUT THE TOOL

A simple page for your words.

Text to PDF turns plain notes into a file you can check and share.

What it does

Paste text or upload a TXT file, choose A4 or Letter, set a font size and margins, then preview and download the PDF. The same PDF bytes supply both the preview and the download.

The conversion runs in your browser. There is no account, document upload endpoint or saved draft. Keep a copy of your text before refreshing or closing the tab.

What this version supports

English and common Western European letters and punctuation. Unsupported characters stop the export with a clear message. The limits are a 1 MB TXT upload, 200,000 characters and 100 PDF pages.

This is a plain-text tool. It does not offer OCR, rich-text editing, custom book sizes or full Unicode fonts. It produces searchable text but does not claim tagged-PDF or PDF/UA accessibility compliance.

How we check the output

We test synthetic notes in all six paper/font combinations and independently read the exported text with PDF.js. Browser checks cover upload errors, pagination and downloads in Chrome, including a 375px viewport. These checks do not replace testing on an actual iPhone or Android phone. Review important documents in your usual reader before sharing them.

How it is maintained

Text to PDF is an independent project maintained by Ji Xiaoguang. The guides describe the actual settings and limits of this version. Examples use public sample text; we do not need your private document to explain a problem.

PDF creation uses the open-source pdf-lib library. Preview rendering uses Mozilla’s PDF.js. Website hosting is provided by Cloudflare. See Privacy for website analytics and your opt-out.
